Cabuya Malpais Reforestation Project
Large-scale reforestation initiative in the Cabuya Malpais region, restoring 15 hectares of degraded land with 18,685 planted trees, mostly rainforest giants, back to native Costa Rican forest.
Huella del Futuro Partnership Initiative
The Foundation participated in the Huella del Futuro project through major donations, working parallel to the German Federal Government and the European Union. All three organizations acted independently, alongside involvement from the Costa Rican Foreign Minister, to strengthen environmental protection in Costa Rica.
Foundation Base in Costa Rica
Purchase of 1.1 hectares for a permanent foundation base near reforestation sites in Costa Rica. The property includes a large bodega (warehouse) for equipment storage and a planning house for coordinating all foundation activities. The 1.1 hectares is also being planted with native rainforest species.
